Housing Support & Stability in South County

Many of our South County neighbors are struggling to find affordable housing close to home. The Jonnycake Center works every day to help our members find stable, local housing and build a strong foundation and future for themselves and their families.

Jonnycake Homes

The Center owns and runs several housing units in Peace Dale and Shannock Villages. These are more than just places to live - they are safe, comfortable, and affordable homes right here in South County.

Our homes have two to five bedrooms. We give priority to Jonnycake members with children in local schools who need better housing and have clear goals that we can help support.

There are no openings, but we do plan to have two new housing units in the spring of 2027. If you are interested, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Home Stability

If you are a Jonnycake member and need help staying in your home or keeping the lights or heat on, our Community Health team can help.

  • Funds for past due rent and utilities, security deposits, and more
  • Connect to other agencies that can help with financial assistance
