Supporting Our Community Through Donations

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community. Donations of goods help the Jonnycake Center meet the basic needs of our South County neighbors every day. Food donations reduce hunger, holiday gifts bring joy to local children, and donations to the youth center help young people enjoy enrichment opportunities.

Food

Our pantry serves hundreds of South County neighbors and is always seeking non-perishable items to help keep our shelves stocked. During the summer months, we are also happy to accept fresh produce from local gardens. Most needed items include canned soup, healthy snacks, whole grain cereal and pasta, granola bars, pasta sauce, canned tuna and chicken, and condiments and spices.

Youth Center

We are committed to providing our youth center members with healthy snacks and unimagined experiences. Our wish list is constantly changing and currently includes healthy snacks, gift cards to Subway, Nike socks, new towels, and new bathing suits, youth and adult sizes.

Holidays

During the holidays, many members of our community struggle to provide their children with gifts.  Beginning in November, we accept new, unwrapped gifts for children, teens, and seniors, as well as gift cards.
